How we work

Our women’s and children’s shelter is a safe accommodation for women, mothers and their children who are victims of domestic violence.
We offer women and children support and guidance regardless of nationality, ethnic and social background, gender, sexual orientation and identity, religion or ideology or the specifics of someone’s partnership or family life.
The staff at the shelter respect the different living situations of the women and children.
You do not have to live at the shelter to talk to its staff for advice.

Our shelter

Every woman has her own room that she shares with her children. The residents share a kitchen, living room, children’s playroom, bathrooms and a courtyard.
You organise your own everyday life, including shopping, meals and childcare. You can continue to go to work.
The children go to school or daycare. If they cannot continue to go to their previous school, they will be enrolled at a local school. We help you look for a place in a local daycare centre.
For safety reasons, the residents cannot receive visitors at the shelter.
